The Penguins have found a way to sit at 4-2-1, and had no business winning like three of those games. Thankfully tonight's game is at home, so we don't have to align things unevenly or hide things, like the sightlines from inside the Barclays Center. Listen, I apologize for my lack of enthusiasm. I'm still on a Stanley Cup hangover. It's hard to care as much when you know you're the best in the world.
Sidney Crosby and Matt Murray returned to the lineup last game, though Murray was backing up Marc-Andre Fleury. Kris Letang is still injured and won't play tonight, though according to the Penguins' website, he's "getting closer." We've had so much reason to believe the Pens' medical staff throughout the years, so think of that what you wish.
Are the Islanders still paying Yashin? What a terrible player, and what a shit franchise.
Sources are telling me there will be more Islanders fans at the game tonight than the number of Islanders fans at any game at the Barclays Center.
Just a reminder: Mike Milbury sucks.
I just remembered that the Islanders drafted some dude named Bellows last year....
Oh my God. I also remembered Thomas Greiss saying last year that Consol was "pretty dead."
The Islanders are such an irrelevant franchise. Their biggest rival has one Stanley Cup since World War 2, yet is still infinitely more relevant than the Islanders.
Rick DiPietro sucks.
Andrew King sucks.
Trocheck was tripped
