The Flyers scored early and often and the crowd in Philly started to act like raging assholes. Then Sidney Crosby took over and the Penguins scored 3 goals in 1:55 to take a 3-2 lead to end the first. Evgeni Malkin scored halfway through the 2nd period to give the Pens a 4-2 lead and it looked like they were going to run away with it, but then Radko Gudas made an unbelievable play to keep a puck in at the blue line on a power play and Claude Giroux shot the puck like he saw a cops ass or something. Jakub Voracek would then add his second of the night on a penalty shot in which he made Marc-Andre Fleury look stupid. In the 3rd, Olli Maatta fired a slapshot towards the net and it went right to Evgeni Malkin's stick and he put it into a wide open net to give the Pens a 5-4 lead. They went into the Jacques Martin Scorpion Death Lock and would hold on to the win.
