The last time the Penguins (8-2-2) visited San Jose, they took home some hardware, last night they took home a 5-0 victory in their second Stanley Cup Final rematch against the Sharks this season (6-6-0).
Thank you to Penguins Highlights on YouTube for the clip
The Penguins concluded their four game road trip with a 5-0 victory against the Sharks last night. Captain Sidney Crosby recorded two goals in the contest, which now puts him atop the league in goals with 8. Matt Murray also had quite the night, recording a 32 save shutout. It may not be as nice as winning the Stanley Cup in front of a bunch of disappointed Sharks fans, but it certainly sparked a goaltender debate on the interwebz, which we love.
The Penguins also got forward Conor Sheary back for this game. He had missed the previous seven games after almost getting decapitated by a high-stick in the Predators game. Sheary tallied an two assists in the game. In addition to Sheary's contribution, ten other Penguins players factored in on the scoring, so you can say things are going great offensively. Speaking of which, check out allllllll the goallllllssssssss.

Remember #SidneyCrosbyCheats, because Logan Couture couldn't win a faceoff last year? Good times.
Actually this was the exact quote: "Because he cheats. And because he gets away with it because of who he is. "He cheats and he gets away with it, he's Sidney Crosby."
Never, ever forget.
Matt Murray earned his second win of the season and made some pretty impressive saves to keep his shutout.
With Murray and Fleury both healthy and playing well, there's clearly a goalie controversy and we're gonna sit back and watch your hot takes fly.
Per Bob Grove, Sidney Crosby was named the second star last night, in his 6 games played this season, he's been named a star in every game.
Brett Burns actually isn't that good.
If he didn't have a beard and look like a degenerate version of the GEICO Caveman, you'd have no idea who he was.
Speaking of not that good, Martin Jones was just that last night. Honestly, Martin Jones is average at best. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Conor Sheary's two assists last night helped him average a point per game so far this season (5 points, 5 games).
Speaking of assists, Carl Hagelin notched 3 of them and tied his career high.
Prior to this game, Hagelin only had two points all season.
Once again per Bob Grove, because he's the greatest Penguin historian of all-time, Sidney Crosby's shooting percentage is currently at 38%.
8 goals on 21 shots.
Think about that, and think about how good that is. Dear god.
Sad news, Jagr left the game last night against the Capitals with groin tightness, we're praying for a speedy recovery.
The Penguins finished their road trip going 3-0-1 and will take on Connor McDavid and the Oilers on Tuesday night.
Do it. Go Pens.
