Ah yes the New York Rangers. Oh how we have missed this:
Its never going to get old seeing this: Lundqvist tossing the net over not getting a call. But enough of that for now, lets get to the game at hand.
Tonight's game marks the start of a home-and-home with them. Going into this one, the Rangers are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss to the Florida Panthers, and the Penguins off a 2-1 shootout loss on Saturday night vs the Buffalo Sabres.
The game should be an interesting affair considering that the Rangers are a "dangerous" team with their high scoring ability, but that's mostly fools gold. Their blueline and especially the baby in net aren't that good or past their primes. When you have Dan Girardi in your top four that's not saying a whole lot.
As mentioned, tonight's game will mark the NHL debut for Jake Guentzel as he'll be on Evgeni Malkins left wing.
Chris Kunitz will be out week-to-week with a lower-body injury.
Since Marc-Andre Fleury is in net tonight, watch for Yinzers to be #MadOnline if they lose with him starting.
The Pens have been shorthanded 69 times this year. #Nice
Along with losing the game, the Rangers also lost center Mika Zibanejad for 6-8 wks with a broken fibula.
Sidney Crosby continues to score goals from unreal angles like he did on Saturday.
Phil Kessel has a Stanley Cup whereas Henrik Lundqvist still doesn't and probably never will.
Our #FriendsGiving was a success as no one died or been stricken with some random food born illness.
The #POAStadiumSeriesTailgate party is in its infancy, so stayed tuned for updates along the way.
To say that Lundqvist has had an uneventful 2016 against the Pens is understatement.
Throwing the net off its moorings due not getting a call.
Never forget him pulling himself out of the net early during Games One, Four & Five of the playoffs this year.
Heres to hoping he does something memorable again, so we can keep making fun of the most overrated goalie in the league.
Rick Nash is currently in his annual "Mr. October/November" phase where people actually think hes a good player, but really isn't. #RickTrash
Finally, come say hi as I'll be in attendance.
Look at that clean stick by Letang on Stalberg.
