Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...............Oh the Penguins play tonight? Yes they do! Who do they play? The New Jersey Devils. Welp!
After a Black Friday beatdown, worse than the fights at retail stores over doorbusters, the Pens are back in action where they host the most boring franchise to exist in the league, the Devils. Sure these aren't the Scott Stevens, Scott Neidermayer, John Madden, and Martin Brodeur lead trapping Devils of the late 90s-early 2000s, but they're still the Devils and with that comes boring hockey.
Tonights game will mark the return of Band-Aid Beau Bennett and Ben Lovejoy. Also Matt Murray makes his triumphant return in net for the Pens.
*STRIPES MIGHT BE UPDATED BEFORE THE GAME*
As mentioned Matt Murray is in net tonight.
Beau Bennett sucks.
TBT to him getting hurt while celebrating his goal in the Home Opener vs MTL last year.
Yet his name is on the Stanley Cup.
The Pens did not hold a morning skate today.
The Devils are still the most boring team to watch play.
ICYMI, NBC released the Penguins Stadium Series jersey yesterday.
@BPhilly26 sucks. #29DaysUntilChristmas
Today also marks the 25 year anniversary since "Badger" Bob Johnson passed away.
