After falling 5-3 to the Islanders last night in Brooklyn, the Penguins (13-7-3) are back at it tonight at PPG Paints Arena to take on the always sexy Tyler Seguin and the Dallas Stars (9-9-6).
Penguins defenseman Trevor Daley will play against his former team for the first time in his career. Daley played 11 seasons in the NHL for the Dallas Stars so that's sorta cool. Also local boy Stephen Johns will get to play against the Penguins tonight, so that's always cool. However there is more important news than the Penguins and Stars game tonight. The Pirates are about to trade star centerfielder Andrew McCutchen and we'll be on #TradeWatch all night, making fun of the Pirates in a variety of ways. As for this game, the Penguins are 6-0 this year following a regulation loss, and 15-0-1 in their last 16 games following a loss.
Unfortunately, Marc-Andrew Fleury will most likely get the start in net for the Penguins. For the Stars, Antti Niemi is expected between the pipes, he's 6-0-1 in his career versus the Penguins. Either way, this game has little implication on our lives and probably yours. Tyler Seguin is sexy and Sidney Crosby scores a lot of goals.
Antti Niemi in goal.
Marc-Andre Fleury in net.
Marc-Andre Fleury in net tonight, yikes.
Hate to say it, but I sort of miss Chris Kunitz.
Tyler Seguin is a good looking human being.
Happy birthday to our very own Ryan Vojtash, I hope your day is merry and bright.
My god, speaking of merry and bright, it's December 1st sdfjadsjfjaksdfjkasjfajsdfjasdjfkadsf.
Might honestly watch Elf and make hot chocolate instead of watching this Penguins game.
Speaking of Christmas coming early, my god if the Pirates trade McCutchen... the internet is gonna be a bad place for awhile. Can't wait honestly.
Oh yeah, the Penguins play tonight.
Both of these teams score a lot and with the goaltending situation tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if the score was a 69-68 final.
I miss Jagr.
There was no morning skate today, so if Daily Faceoff lied about the lines, than YOLO.
