With it being less than a week until Christmas, the Penguins start a stretch of five straight games against the Metrosexual division, with tonight being against the New York Rangers.
Going into this game, the Rangers are coming off a shootout victory on Sunday night, whereas the Penguins are coming off two straight overtime losses. The last time these two played against one another was during a home-at-home, where each team split. While the Rangers won the first game, the Penguins chased "King Nothing" Henrik Lundqvist out of the net once again in the second ...and while were on the topic of Lundqvist, lets go back to the Rangers-Stars game last week.
Dallas Stars forward Cody Eakin did what every NHL fan wished he or she could do, which is clock Lundqvist. Lundqvist sucks IAH. Total dive on his part. Hes been chased from net the last three times he's faced the Penguins. However, tonight King Nothing won't be in net as it'll be Antti Raanta. With Lundqvist not starting theres only one word to describe him and I'm gonna spell it out: S-A-W-F-T......SAAAWWWWWFFTTTTT!!!!
BTW, the Rangers lines are wrong as Drew has v important things to do today. No time to fix it IMO.
Cody Eakin should have a statue made of him.
Matt Murray gets the nod. #TeamMurray
Chris Kunitz is searching for his goal scoring touch.
His goal scoring touch disappeared after Sochi.
Sidney Crosby, Phil Kessel, and Carl Hagelin visited the Hockey Hall of Fame this past Sunday, and presented the HOF a Stanley Cup ring.
King Nothing is the most overrated goalie of all time.
Derrick Pouliot = Hot garbage
Mr. October/Mr. November aka Rick Nash isn't playing as he pulled his groin.
Go Pens. #LundqvistDove
