Much like they did in December, the Pens picked up right where they left off, as they smoked the Lightning 6-2. While Penguin-killer Johnathan Drouin got the Bolts their first of two goals, it didn't matter as Crosby and Co. eventually found their legs halfway in the second. After a relentless shift by Crosby, he would set up Conor Sheary for the tying goal. Then after a solid penalty-kill, Matt Cullen and Eric Fehr found themselves on a 2 on 1, where Fehr capitalized, giving the Pens a lead they wouldn't relinquish for the remainder. Chris Kunitz, Scott Wilson, Phil Kessel, and Kris Letang would all score for Pens in the final frame.
