All you need to know from this game are a couple of things:
Alex Ovechkin torched Marc-Andre Fleury for the 69th time it seems like.
Alex Ovechkin scored his 1000th point just 0:35 seconds into the game.
The Pens weren't awful tonight, as they were average, but the Caps were better.
Sources have yet to confirm whether or not the Caps raised a banner after beating the Pens for the second time at home this season.

Mike Sullivan was "OK" with his teams performance.
Matt Murray was healthy enough to back up Fleury last night.
Look for the teams number one goalie to return tonight vs Ottawa.
RMNB sucks for a blog.
Its pretty sad when you have to invent reasons for being salty as to why the Pens didn't applaud for Ovechkins 1000th point recognition.
Only 69 seconds until the Pens play vs Ottawa
