The long one day wait is over. Tonight the Penguins will look to take a 2-0 commanding series lead back to Columbus on Easter Sunday while the Blue Jackets hope to get out of Pittsburgh with the series even at one game a piece. Before we get to that though, lets get in the mood first.
Ok, as the young folks would say, it's "lit." On Wednesday the Penguins defeated the Blue Jackets by a score of 3-1 thanks to goals from Bryan Rust, Phil Kessel, and Nick Bonino. The Penguins looked about as good as Jack Johnson's bank account in the period period of Wednesday's game, but finished the game stronger than Roman Reigns on a Monday Night Raw.
The Penguins will once again turn to Marc-Andre Fleury in net tonight while Matt Murray remains out with a 'lower body' injury that he suffered Wednesday during warmups. There is no timetable for his return. The Blue Jackets will obviously turn to Sergei Bobrovsky again tonight, but who knows what the hell John Tortorella will roll out with lineup wise.
What we do know - Jack Johnson is poor. If you're going to the game tonight, only give money to the 'We Want the Cup Guy' and maybe the Sax Guy if you're feeling generous, but watch for imposters like Jack Johnson.
How to spot an imposter
*All lines are subject to change. Don't hate the player, hate the game*
*No stripes available yet, will update closer to game time.* Realistically we probably won't update this though*
Jack Johnson is poor.
His parents took all his money.
I kinda didn't hate Scott Hartnell as much once he became a Blue Jacket but the hate is back. It's in full force too.
I'm mad now just thinking about him.
Good thing the Pirates play at 2:20PM today so we don't have to hear whiny Pirate fans complain about the television deal.
It truly is a wonderful place on the internet.
Trevor Daley and Bryan Rust didn't skate yesterday.
Mark Streit skated in Daley's place and Archibald skated for Rust.
No idea what that means, but now you know and you're better now because of it.
I would have rather been in the front row of a Creed concert than have witnessed Olli Maatta try to play defense on Wednesday night. Woof.
RIP Dan Rooney.
Marc- Andre Fleury has the most playoff wins over the last ten seasons with 53. Next on that list is notorious piss-baby Henrik Lundqvist with 50.
Fleury is just two wins behind Tom Barrasso for 1st all-time in Penguins history.
Per the Penguins infographic, Phil Kessel has 24 points (11 goals, 13 assists) with the Penguins in 25 playoff games.
That's very good incase you didn't know.
Don't give Jack Johnson money tonight please. It's a good thing he doesn't know he used his picture for our gameday graphic, otherwise he'd probably try to collect royalties.
Follow us on Twitter, @PensOfAnarchy because we're a good follow in the playoffs.
Did someone say FIRRRRRREEDDDDDDDDD UPPPPPPPPPPPPP??
Tom Wilson won the game in OT for the Caps last night, if that doesn't make you want to die I don't know what will.
Let's go Pens!
REMEMBER - ALWAYS TIP THE 'WE WANT THE CUP' GUY.
