Before I get to the recap, lets appreciate Phil Kessel first.
Describe Phil Kessel:
Hes a nice guy
Eats hotdogs? F U Steve Simmons
To bash Phil Kessel is comical at best because when in reality, hes just like you! Except for the fact that he gets paid by your favorite hockey team to help win. So to the hates towards Phil, heres two letters for you: F U!
In a game that was a drag at times, the Pens came away with a 1-0 victory over the Ottawa Senators to tie the Eastern Conference Final at 1-1.
During the first, the Pens watched two players drop down injured faster than a South Side slut on a Friday night. Both teams had good looks at the net, but no avail.
As has been the case all season long, the Pens took over the second. They had consistent zone pressure on the Sens in the offensive end. However, despite all this zone time, they couldn't get anything past Anderson. Sidney Crosby had a glorious chance off the right half wall, but fired wide. Conor Sheary had a chance earlier, but he sucks @ZZapf76. Like the first, nothing-nothing.
In the final frame, aside from the last say five-six minutes, the Pens pretty much played in the Senators end of the rink, and would finally be rewarded. Off of a slick pass by Evgeni Malkin, Phil Kessel buried a wrist shot past Anderson. Kessels initial shot was blocked, but he ended up firing the second shot by. After a somewhat minor pushback, the Pens prevailed to even the series at 1-1.
Guy Boucher doesn't care that people bash his 1-3-1.
P.S. Its pretty boring. No one pays to see a plugger get glorified in a dumbed down system.
TBT to the "Phil Kessel smear campaign."
Evgeni Malkin now has 20 points in the playoffs.
Marc-Andre Fleury has his second shutout of the playoffs.
Second in three games.
Phil Kessel yelling>>>>>>>>>>>
Chris Rooney is garbage.
Both Justin Schultz and Bryan Rust left in the first period with injuries and didn't return.
Kyle Turris sucks.
Game Three is Wednesday night at 8:00 PM
