Tonight the Penguins (7-3-1) begin a five game road trip, which includes four Western Canadian teams but first they will make a pitstop in Minnesota to face off against the Wild (3-3-2) at 8:00PM from Xcel Energy Center. The Penguins pretty much replicated Tuesday's overtime win against the Oilers but against the Jets on Thursday, with the same score and the same overtime hero, Phil Kessel. His overtime winner was not only his second overtime winner in as many games, but also his 300th career NHL goal, becoming only the 19th American born player to reach 300 career goals.
The Wild are coming off a 6-4 win against the New York Islanders on Thursday in which they saw two players, Luke Kunin and Zach Mitchell score their first NHL goals. Stop me if you've heard this before, the 13 year $98 million dollar player, Zach Parise is hurt. Parise underwent successful back surgery the other day and is expected back sometime between eight and ten weeks.
Incase you live under a rock, which many of you do, Matt Cullen is now a member of the Minnesota Wild. Cullen, 40, decided to give it another go, this time in his home state of Minnesota. Cullen was a vital part of the Penguins back-to-back Stanley Cups and for that we will forever be grateful. Thank you, Dad.
*Stripes will be updated closer to game time, I doubt it though.*
Thank you, Dad.

Never forget when Nino Niederreiter punted Olli Maatta into an open bench door and hurt his shoulder. I'm mad now.
Speaking of Niederreiter, I didn't realize he was actually out with an ankle sprain. He should return sometime next week so ignore that gameday graphic.
Casey DeSmith could be staring at his first NHL start, stay tuned.
Expect Devan Dubnyk in goal for the Wild.
Speaking of goaltending, since Game Five of the Stanley Cup Final, Matt Murray as a starter is 9-0-1.
Not an expert, but that seems pretty good.
Phil Kessel used to play for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, so that's cool.
The Penguins still have a -7 goal differential on the season, all because of Antti Niemi and the Blackhawks / Lightning game lol.
The Wild won both games these two teams played last season, outscoring the Penguins 10-4 in those two games.
Coming into tonight's game the Penguins still sit atop the Metrosexual Division with seven points.
Totally forgot Ryan Suter still plays for the Wild. Only what, 3543 more years of that contract too?
Just realized the Wild have Daniel Winnik. Expect Taylor Winnik, Daniel's wife, to fight all of his battles for him, just like she does on twitter.com.
Eric Staal looks like an alien with that huge visor he wears. Seriously, watch him play.
Expect the Wild to win tonight because Head Coach Bruce Boudreau is a champion when it comes to coaching in the regular season...
Playoffs...not so much.
Phil Kessel = good at hockey.
I got nothing else.
Follow us on Twitter, @PensOfAnarchy because we usually live tweet the game and get irrationally mad.
