After beating the Columbus Blue Jackets in overtime on Friday, the Penguins played a really impressive game against the Blues. Sidney Crosby dazzled and put on a show with 2 goals and 1 assist giving him 997 career points. This of course was after a night where the resident jackass in Columbus Brandon Dubinsky tried to punish Sid in any way shape or form. On his first goal Crosby did only Crosby things, which was, score on his back from one knee. Aside from Crosbys night, both Kris Letang and Justin Schultz each scored. On Schultz goal in particular, Crosby dished a sweet pass to him, leading to a beautiful finish behind Jake Allen. 3-1 victory.
Before I start, there is no scoring recap because well, theres other things to do, and plus two I really don't want to.
On Friday night, Phil Kessel made his 800th game a memorable one by scoring two goals, including the OT winner.
Sidney Crosby trails Connor McDavid by a point in the scoring race.
Despite not playing since January 14th vs DET, Marc-Andre Fleury played very well vs STL.
Carl Hagelin left nights game vs STL, with an upper-body injury. #ConcussionWatch
Carter Rowney delivered a clean hit on Robby Fabbri.
Fabbri now has a torn ACL.
Other then that theres not much else.
