Anyway, the Penguins (50-20-11) are playing their final game of the regular season tonight against the Rangers (47-28-6)at Madison Square Garden. We really don't care about this game either but since it's early on a Sunday morning and I'm bored I decided to pump out a quick gameday.
Both the Rangers and Penguins are decimated by injuries. In fact, I'd rather watch fans play this game than the few healthy players both teams have left. Actually wait no, I think we should rest our fans for this upcoming week because I'm already getting mad about the Blue Jackets and how Jack Johnson doesn't have any money. I need to rest up more so I can get very mad.
Either way, this game is meaningless for both teams. The Rangers are set to face off against the Montreal Canadiens while the Penguins are set to face that scumbag Brandon Dubinsky and all of the 5th Line degenerates. I pray to God Sidney Crosby doesn't play tonight. I don't think Mike Sullivan should coach tonight, just incase he gets hurt or something happens. Hell, I'd even sit Jacques Martin, Rick Tocchet, Bill Guerin, Sergei Gonchar, and Andy Saucier if I could.
I think the Rangers are missing half their team too. Ryan McDonagh, Mats Zuccarello, Rick Nash, Brady Skjei, Nick Holden, and Jesper Fasth are all on the Rangers injury report. By the end of tonight you could probably add Henrik Lundqivst to that list with hurt feelings, whether he plays or not. Never forget when Lundqvist flipped the net in a fit of rage. Pepperidge Farm remembers.
(There was no morning skate this morning because of the travel). I hope the lineup is Sestito and 17 members of the Wheeling Nailers).
(Who the hell are half of these guys?)
*I fully expect Tristan Jarry to start for the Penguins, though I really have no idea*
*Stripes not available yet, might update later but I probably won't. Who cares.*
The Leafs should be thanking us for giving them a shot in the playoffs
How great was it that Kessel opened up the scoring last night? What a magical moment.
Kasperi Kapanen still sucks.
Wrap every player that plays tonight in bubblewrap.
Lundqvist just flipped the net over.
Jake Guentzel has a goal in five straight games.
That's very good.
If Crosby plays tonight, I'm going to be mad.
Speaking of Crosby, he's on an absolute tear this season.
In 75 games, Crosby has 89 points (44 goals, 45 assists).
Please remember Crosby missed the first six games of the season with a concussion.
Rick Nash still sucks.
I really have no interest in this game other than praying that no one gets hurt.
Tristan Jarry is probably going to play tonight.
Carl Hagelin is apparently skating, which is #good news for the Penguins.
Penguins should just forfeit tonight, give the Rangers two points and rest up.
Expect the playoff schedule to be released sometime tonight after the games have been played or early tomorrow.
Lundqvist is still a piss-baby.
Jet fuel can't melt steel beams.
