"A hockey play." A friggin HOCKEY PLAY! Theres no word to describe how badly I detest Matt Niskanen. No matter how remorseful he might've felt, if there truly was any, during his post morning skate media scrum, it will never change my opinion of how I feel about him. I didn't like him when he was a Penguin, and I sure as hell hate him even more now! You can say how much you didn't mean to hurt him, but I'll never buy it, and neither should you. However, enough of that as I can go on and on.
In looking at tonights affair, a case can be made that this game might be even more important than Game Three was for Washington, in that while the Pens hold a 2-1 series, a loss here would make this a whole new series.
Now if you want something positive its that in 1992 when Adam Graves knocked Mario Lemieux out in Game Two, the Pens were able to pull off the series victory. The ironic part is that like the Capitals did on Monday night, the Rangers also won Game Three that year. The Pens of course won the next three games. So its not impossible, but its an even tougher road now.
No one knows how the Pens lines will shake up, and Matt Niskanen sucks.
After the skate, Phil Kessel bashed Capitals forward Jay Beagle for calling Niskanens hit clean.
In responsee, Beagle challenged Kessel to a game of Mario Kart.
Barry Trotz is an ass plain and simple.
"A HOCKEY PLAY"
After Game Three, Chris Kunitz was the one Pens player who took most offence with the Niskanen hit.
So heres a bet that Kunitz challenges Niskanen at some point tonight.
"A FRIGGIN HOCKEY PLAY!!"
Eventhough, Shattenkirk scored the OT winner on Monday night, he still sucks.
TBT to Bonino blowing right by him.
Don Cherry, the voice of hockey in Canada, summed up the Crosby-Niskanen ordeal perfectly.
For once I agree with him.
One last time, "ITS A HOCKEY PLAY!!!"
F Washington. F Ovechkin. F Barry Trotz, and most importantly F U Matt Niskanen!!!
Go Pens! #DoTheDamnThing
